Registered Traveler Data Must Stay Intact
August 20, 2009 (WASHINGTON) – Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, and Rep. Peter T. King (R-NY), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano regarding the planned deletion of biometric data from the Registered Traveler databases which could hinder any possible restoration of the program.
